Heritage Motor Lodge

People at front desk at first was a little standoffish, but after getting to know them a couple of weeks they were great. The lady that takes care of the rooms was really a awesome lady. If my job takes me back to that area I will stay again. I say again they were great people.

One of the regular spots in Petersburg, VA...when I'm on business I need a place to stay when moving about without too much advanced notice.

Very clean and also smelled fresh and clean, (considering the intense cleaning spots on carpet from pet accidents, but odor free)👍🏻 Very well lit up outside. TV worked well along with the heat , A/C unit., on this cool damp and rainy night. Shower/ tub was clean and the water was hot. The wi fi worked well and the management was friendly. Sign outside office door said mask required, which is understandable as the office check in area is small. All in all with the easy on and off of I-95 and adjacent to gas station/ convenience store with beer cave make this motor lodge worth staying at. We stayed with our 2 small dogs and the pet charge was fair and respectfully understood as their was no pet dander present , (until we left). Horrible experience.i do not recommend this place The guy at the front desk was beyond rude. Im traveling with family and we needed to stop for the night being tired and it storming bad. The place looked nice on the outside so we decided to stop. Went in asked for a room with 2 beds. He asked how many people I replied and said 4. He then was yelling at me about how to fill the paper out. After being rude for a couple minutes He then said you want a smoking room right. I nicely told him no. Then he seemed annoyed and reminded me to make sure only 4 people go in the room. And then went on to tell me to make sure i keep the room clean. Finally get to the room my daughter goes to take a shower and there is not a single towel in the room , one bed had no pillowcases on it and the other bed sh

They have bed bugs. Poor room cleaning. Looks like it's barely maintained at all. I personally don't recommend to anybody. Not just that but they only have one room for dogs and there signs say 10 dollars a dog they was gonna charge 20. They place had maggots that came from under the ac vent when the trash was taken off. It was gross.
