Hawthorn Extended Stay by Wyndham Wichita

Do not go- was there less than 15 minutes when we saw a cockroach with the lights on. Chose not to stay. Where there’s one, there’s hundreds once the lights are off. Booked through a third party service and they won’t refund them. No ice machine, dirty, worn down, light on the stove indicating a burner was on, even though none were. While checking in, a smoke alarm by the front desk kept beeping. Never stay here…. Absolutely should be out of business.

I would give less than one star, if I could. This property is very rundown. There is paint peeling everywhere. I would not stay here again. The room smelled like smoke. Every chair I went to sit on was stained and dirty. I think the couch is older than I am and I'm not young.The sheets were stained. There were no hand towels. You could see daylight around the entry door from inside the room. We heard scratching in the wall behind our bed. it was a very unpleasant experience overall. Again, I would not choose to stay here.

Positive: Price. Room with full kitchen was really nice. It was an overall good value. Negative: Enterance was hard to find. Near busy highway.

Positive: Nothing was smelled like cigarette smoke when we walked in the bed was broke the bathroom door was cut out to go around the toilet the shower head was filthy there was rust rings in the sink... Negative: ""

Positive: Location next to the freeway Negative: Hotel was dirty, staff was lazy after hours. Room was changed due to big infestation and still there were inappropriate items in my sink
