Hawthorn Extended Stay by Wyndham Wichita Airport

I stayed in this hotel as my flight was cancelled. It was booked by an airline. It was better than I expected. The building seems old, but it have been renovated it recently. The made it feel as modern as possible. It’s very clean and staff is friendly. There is a bit of an “old building smell” but for one night I didn’t mind it.

Staff is great to work with. Meeting rooms were set up as we needed. Convenient location from airport. There is no on site restaurant but we were able to set up our own roasters for meals and restaurants are only a few blocks away. Great breakfast provided. Clean and large rooms. I will certainly use again if Wichita is where we want to meet. Cindy was great to work with.

Room was good, clean, and spacious. Biggest problem was the front desk working Philippe. I extended my reservation for two nights, ( Friday and Saturday night) and Saturday morning he came to my room and said I needed to pay, which I already did at the front desk Friday morning. He told me that that reservation was canceled and instead of paying $86 a night I would have to pay $122 before taxes because it was the weekend. Obviously I left and went to another hotel since I was being pressured to pay more after already paying. Guy had a terrible attitude and I still haven’t received my $50 deposit two weeks later. If I had to guess, probably for late checkout since he waited till after checkout to inform me that my reservation was canceled and he wanted me to pay the higher rate. Other front

We absolutely loved this hotel! Zero issues! Definitely a go-to spot stay in Wichita!

I'm very pleased with my stay here. I reserved from June 21 to 29. Check-in was after 11 am, but unfortunately, we couldn't make it on time and arrived past midnight. They were very accommodating, and the place was clean. The beds were comfortable, although the pool had too much chlorine. Overall, I would stay here again.
