Customer Reviews
This is our first night here but I already have to give them 5 stars. We have yet to find an apartment, my husband just started working in the area. I originally booked an extended stay elsewhere and decided it was not suitable for our stay. Desperately searching for a clean/safe extended stay for my family after a not so pleasant experience elsewhere, it was like a weight was lifted off my shoulders. Friendly, clean, the front desk and management were very welcoming.
Signs say La Quinta and Hawthorn Extended Stay, both names exist separately on Tripadvisor. I saw the La Quinta sign on the highway and headed in that direction. Had I known how things would have gone, I would have checked in at the Red Roof Inn next door.||I admit to being over tired and ready to crash so the mention of $179 plus charges didn't really phase me much. I have stayed in a number of La Quintas and found them safe, comfortable and worth the extra money. Check-in was relatively easy, and the people friendly.||My first impression of the room was wonderful, clean and finding a full size fridge and freezer was a pleasant surprise.||The bathtub looked like the perfect place to wash off the road and relax, except the grit in the bottom for slip protection I assume, was quite uncom
Great stay, soft beds and a welcoming staff member. Ford was wonderful. Our breakfast was great, the dining area was clean and large. The rooms were large and great beds. Ok the difference between Hawthorn and La Quinta is that Hawthorn rooms have a kitchenette and the La Quinta rooms don't. Good to know.
Booked same day as stay and much more reasonably priced than nearby hotels. Although not fancy, it was clean and quiet. Good breakfast buffet. Would definitely stay again on next trip to Knoxville.
Good breakfast! Nice big clean rooms. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Elevator still weird but it gets the job done. Per other reviews the lights have been haywire on the floor indicators for a year now, so apparently at this point it is just normal operation! We would definitely stay here again.
