Harborside Hotel, Spa & Marina

We have been enjoying the Harborside for the last four years and are already looking forward to our visit next year! The location is perfect...close to everything, but a bit away from downtown so able to enjoy everything Bar Harbor has to offer along with the serenity of being on the water. From the front desk to housekeeping to bellman to room service, the staff are warm, friendly, and make the entire stay so welcoming. The rooms are luxurious and spacious and have all of the comforts of home. The resort is pet friendly and our pups love the Harborside as much as we do. The restaurant/room service offer a diverse menu and the lobster ravioli are divine. Highly recommend the Harborside!

My wife and I arrived at Harborside Hotel hopeful for a pleasant stay after thorough research suggested it was the best choice in town. While the atmosphere was welcoming, the property felt somewhat dated. Unfortunately, our trip was marred by an incident in the parking lot and disappointing treatment from both management and ownership. |During the night, my brand-new SUV was damaged in the hotel parking lot—the rear bumper was torn off. At 6 a.m., the local police called to notify me of the accident. The situation quickly became frustrating when I learned that the hotel had no security cameras on site. Our stay was terrific! The staff were all excellent and the hotel and our room were spotless! Housekeeping is to be commended for their attention to detail. Special thanks go to Kali Liimatainen, the General Manager. Kali greeted us at the front desk upon our arrival and checked us in. She was very helpful, professional and friendly, taking the time to answer all of our questions. We wish to also recognize Iva, a server at La Bella Vita. She too was very friendly and helpful. We thank the entire Harborside staff for a wonderful visit. It simply couldn't have been better!

My recent stay at Harborside Hotel, Spa & Marina in Bar Harbor was nothing short of incredible. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warm hospitality and breathtaking views of the harbor. The location is absolutely ideal—just steps from the charming downtown shops and restaurants, and only minutes from Acadia National Park. The room was spotless, beautifully decorated, and offered a spectacular view of the water. Waking up to the sunrise over Frenchman Bay was unforgettable. Amazing location, on the water and walking distance to everything. Room was comfy and had everything we needed to include fleece lined robes. We opted for the jacuzzi on the balcony. Wonderful way to relax after a long day. Celebrating birthdays and recieved a complimentary bottle of wine! Such a nice surprise. Would come back anytime! Highly recommend.
