Harbor Motel

I like to try the Mom and Pop motels when available, thus we were here for two nights. We met the owner upon check-in, who was very nice. We had room # 2, which had a queen bed and a couch. Both of which probably should have been hauled off a long time ago. The bathroom was tiny, with a shower sized for very small people, as was the toilet. Perhaps another room would be better. The location was great, being very close to downtown .

The owner was super friendly. Walking distance from food and the water. The room was clean and very reasonably priced.

We got into town late and nobody would answer the doorbell for the office, even though it said the office is open 24hrs on Google. We tried calling and we were hung up on twice. We had to find another place to stay but they still charged our card. When we finally got who we believe was the owner on the phone, we asked for a refund. He "took" our info, said he'd give it to the owner, and hung up on us.

Very affordable! Clean rooms, comfortable beds. Walking distance to down town. No air conditioning but every room has a box fan and windows that open to create a nice cross breeze. I felt very comfortable and safe. Slept like a baby. Owner was very friendly and provided us with coffee and shampoos. I will gladly stay here again! For marijuana smokers there is no smoking on this property so bring your edibles. All the rooms have open windows so out of courtesy to your temporary neighbors I would not smoke in the lot per request of management.

On a girls trip we stopped in to stay the night. VERY reasonable priced! Cute rooms! Clean. Beds were so comfortable. Sheets smelled like they were washed that day. No air conditioning BUT, they had a fan ❤️ Owner was nice. I pinned this motel on my google maps. Definitely recommend! If we come back up north, we WILL be staying here! Chris made sure we had everything we needed. Thank you for the lovely stay.
