Elli's Lazy Days Resort & Camground

We just stayed 5 days in July and had the most amazing time! The bathroom, vault toilets, porta potties and shower room are ALL clean! That is saying a lot! The camp hosts and owners were amazing and super friendly! We even had a tornado warning that we along with other campers were offered a place of refuge if weather got worse then brought snacks to our scared kids when all was clear. The campground has large sites with very clean grounds and it was a perfect intimate feel (not crammed in.) The kids and I loved swimming in the lake but recommend water shoes since where you enter the water is rocky but once you’re in it’s sandy. We already booked a trip for next year! Can’t say enough about this gem!

Great small campground!! Shower house was SO clean and thats huge when you are camping. Everyone was so nice and we had a great size lot. Dog friendly 100%. Very much enjoyed our stay and hope to stay again in the future.

We booked through HipCamp online for $20 a night for a tent spot. They have a nice shower and bathroom and are opening a small shop with camping supplies including firewood and ice. There’s electricity at every camp site, but we needed to put a deposit down for a 120v adapter. Water is available from a ground pump. Each camp site has a small fire ring. There’s enough cell data so I don’t get stranded. There’s a small beach area behind the owners house and it’s pretty shallow and has some chairs to sit on. Only 15 minutes from the town to get any supplies or get food, and close to a few major parks. My only complaints is there’s no privacy between the different camp sites, it’s all in one line and you can hear other people yelling or playing music.

This campground is super chilled. The perfect place to relax. The owners are hospitable and so very accommodating. Our vacation would have been cut short without their generosity. Shannon was so nice and made us feel very comfortable. Bathrooms are clean and hot water is neverending. The playground is perfect for the kids. Their dogs are sweet and paid no mind to my little loud crazy dog, who acted like she owned the place. The lake is nice for swimming and fishing. The location is in the perfect place to get the remote camping feel with all the amenities and only about 20 minutes from town.

My husband and I stayed at this cute campground for one night as we traveled up the UP. The bathroom/shower room was super clean, which I appreciated so much. The staff was very friendly and we even got to meet Elli - she’s the sweetest, most hard working, 4 legged staff member I’ve ever seen! 😉 Would definitely camp here again.
