Woodstar Beach Campground

This campground is awesome! The sites are right on the edge of the beach, which allows for quick access to the water. It also means stunning sunrises! The sites are large and level. The bathrooms and showers are clean and well kept. And the owners are super friendly; I’m not sure they’ve ever met a stranger! This really is one of our most favorite campgrounds, and we hope to be back!

Perfect campsite just off the beach for 37 foot RV. Trees trimmed so campers don’t get scratched. Fire ring, picnic table, water and electric hookup at site. Hot/cold showers, pets. Peaceful campground. Great owners! Extremely clean. Had a wonderful time. Thanks!

Such a fun camp ground. Met family there and had a great time. Small and quiet, but direct access to the beach with a brook that runs through it and a playground. It was fun for the whole family. There is rustic, tent and camper sites available, which made it great for everyone to enjoy!

Woodstar beach was the grand finale to our UP trip. Waking up to the waves on the beach of this secluded woodsy camp was the icing on the cake. Joanne has a GREAT little gift shop and Randy even taught me about how to have the best fire. Great people we can’t wait to come back! Thank you!!

We were a little skeptical of what we would find regardless of reviews since it was the only campground with sites available. This is now one of our favorites. The kids spent most of the days in the water and beach. The bath house was nice and clean. They have wood, laundry, playground and kayaks to rent. The campground owners are super nice! They are very good people. The only negative is that depending on the wind / wave direction, there is this stuff that washes up by the beach. Once you get past it (2-3 feet) the water is clean and clear. Overall an amazing place to stay and we definitely will be back!!
