Hampton Inn Towson

The location was the only good thing I can say about this Hampton Inn location. When myself and my daughter arrived to our room, the washroom door handle was broken and swinging back and forth. The shower water pressure felt like I was taking a shower in some sprinklers outside. So clearly they did not do a walkthrough or cleaning of my room before our stay. Then our last night there, the hotel gave room key access to a different guess who entered my room at 10:45pm at night while me and my daughter were sleeping. Yes, they refunded half of the stay but to be honest they should have done more. That was a safety hazard for myself and my daughter. If we weren’t in our room then those guests could have walked into our room with all of our personal belongings and I probably would have never kn

What a fabulous place! Staff is wonderful, very friendly and they.l checked in a couple of times to make sure I had everything I needed. The lobby and breakfast areas is a shared space with Home2Suites. The breakfast area was huge and the selection of food was great. Plenty of seating and everything was clean. There is a parking garage about a block away. It's not a bad walk unless there is snow or rain. There is a Whole Foods across the street and dining options too.

Great experience. We stayed on the 9th floor- it was very quiet, clean, and comfortable. Breakfast was the usual- eggs, sausage, cereal, yogurt, breads, and fruits. Parking is a block away in a parking garage but the weather was nice and the front desk validates your ticket so all was well. I don't think I would care for it in bad weather though and valet parking is not offered.

The hotel is new, clean and there's a very nice breakfast. It's a city hotel, so the room was smaller than other Hampton Inns, but comfortable with nice amenities (fridge, microwave, coffee maker, usb ports) and a big TV. Home2suites shares the building and the floor. The self-parking is expensive ($20/day) and is a walk up a hill to a public lot.. The valet staff was nice and let me unload and check-in before parking. The front desk staff, however, was remote and unfriendy. It wasn't explained how parking worked - other than that the charge would be added to the room. It meant a trudge back to the car in a thunderstorm to get a ticket previously left in the car. She handled everything efficiently while making me feel welcomed and valued as a guest. Angel went above and beyond to ensure my stay was smooth and comfortable, answering questions with patience and offering help before I even had to ask. Her positive attitude and attention to detail made a real difference in my experience. She is a huge asset to the Hampton Inn Towson and the perfect example of excellent hospitality.
