I checked out shortly after arrival. When I first saw my room, I noticed the tore up headboard and went to the desk to request a new room. Once the employee finally came to the desk (they had a sign indicating the desk clerk was helping a guest, but they were visiting with what seemed to be friends in the dining area), I was offered an upgrade to another room, with a headboard in much worse condition. I asked if there were any rooms in better condition and I was told there were not, so I was going to keep the original room. When I first arrived, I was on the phone since I check in through the app and use a digital key, but was off the phone and noticing the disgusting, unmopped floors on my way back to the original room. When I got back, I noticed a spot on the table and decided to check

I gave it 4 stars because I liked the breakfast. The rooms were a little outdated and somewhat noisy. It seemed that they put everyone on the same floor in rooms next to each other. The hotel was not full but they filled the floor I was on.

Reading other reviews, it made me a little nervous. Hotel wasn’t busy, but it’s in a decent area of town. The rooms are dated and the headboards were peeling badly. Room was clean and didn’t have an odor. No issues with the AC and it worked for one night stay. The price was decent. Breakfast was just ok. Not as much of a selection as some Hampton, but the coffee was drinkable. Overall, I wasn’t upset with the experience due to the price paid.

Unfortunately the rooms and building is not as pictured. There is trash and debris everywhere outside. We walked into the hotel with a man picking his toes on the couch. The building smells funky, the room smells like mildew and there’s mold in the bathroom and jacuzzi. The backboard to the bed was clawed and falling apart. There was also hair in the bed. I had to immediately cancel the reservation-getting only half a refund.

Final update: I had to reach out to corporate and was able to get a refund put through from speaking with them. Sad it had to go that far. Update: manager was unwilling to refund the last night we didn’t stay. His response to me was “if you didn’t like why did you stay 3 nights” mind you, we just had a house fire + a flooding and had to up and move our stuff with our dog 3 times in a matter of 3 days. Extremely rude and insensitive. READ. Quality does NOT reflect prices. Stayed here due to our house fire as this is a pet friendly hotel. Had to move rooms due to the bed being so sunken in you could see it before you even laid in the bed to feel it, so we didn’t sleep well, as well as just overall a dirty room with rips, stains, and a mildew smell. Only to move to a room where it also smel
