Clarion Inn I-94 near Expo Center

First of all if u pay with cash they won't give u a receipt. So u know that money's not getting claim. It's Fraud. They tell u different price every night. If rooms $ 60 and u pay cash $70 they keep ur other $10 . Some rooms have cock roaches . They don't fix stuff in rooms like they should. Had a room Sink wouldn't drain , toilet keep running and had hold handle down till it flushed. Mico wave and refergerator didn't work. After three days finally got a Mico wave from another room .Thanks to a cleaning person. They took money of charge card on there own try saying was a fee .Had to have police there to talk to them about it. After police left they said cause called police we had to leave and they said wasn't refunding our money because we called the police instead of talking to them. Wh

2nd dirtiest hotel I stayed in. Left over coke bottles in the dresser, left over deodorant spray in a dresser. Reusable plastic bag still in the room. Empty pop bottle top on the floor. Have 2 rooms (currently staying here as I write this review drinking to laugh and forget how dirty this place is) hotel staff was pretty nice nothing wrong but rooms are disgustingly gross. Don’t forget about the 6 inch stain on the carpet floor 😂 spend the 20$ extra and go else where.

I'm leaving this review because in the 30+ years I've been staying in various hotels across the state of Michigan I've found only one who's approach to hospitality has earned 5 stars in all categories. The rooms witch are being completely upgraded throughout the building many of which are completed already provided me with all the comforts I could need while I work. A desk, internet, smart tv, and a phone that seem to welcome me home every time I enter a room. That along with the coziest bed I never want to get up from has definitely caused me to be convinced that the staff not only works hard but cares about the things their guests look forward to finding. Front desk clerk was exceptionally nice to us. The room was spacious enough and the bed was comfortable. We had our beagle with us, which there is an extra charge for, but that is expected. Breakfast was very adequate for our needs. I’d stay there again.
