Motel 6 Kalamazoo, MI

The people in charge of this motel don't know what they are doing, water pipes broke twice cause they didn't get them ready for the winter, the heater is broke , the door to the room sticks and the card read won't read the key card, they were informed all they did was change the battery in the card reader, they shut off all the water, just for it be broken again. They have really bad wiring and blame the no power cause of two many things plugged in. They are unreasonable and need to be shut down till everything is fixed and better management is in place. Also of you use a third part to book your room and pay for it via the third part and have the confirmation number and everything they will still try to get you to pay again for the room already paid for, I don't recommend this motel for a

Worst hotel experience I've ever had. The room has strange smells, with two flies' companion, which I couldn't bear with. Simplest facilities. The desk people is nice but the boss is unreasonable. It took almost three hours to make them agree to cancel the reservation, but still charge me $10 for nothing .

Staff is friendly but the rooms are horrible and not as advertised there is no microwave or mini fridge not even an alarm clock the wall mounted lights don't have lightbulbs the tubs are cracked and don't plug the floor is patched with nonmatching flooring and soft in areas housekeeping definitely needs to do a better job i had to clean the tub and there was one full unopened roll of toilet paper and a roll that was almost gone the pillows are flat and give no support at all and the beds are rock hard not to mention walking into an ice cold room with no heat on is never fun

I’ve stayed in many budget motels, but this was by far the worst experience I’ve ever had. The room was not clean at all—there were no pillows, no blanket, and it looked like housekeeping hadn’t touched it in days. Even worse, there were stains that looked like drug residue and small blood spots on multiple surfaces. Completely unacceptable and honestly disturbing. I felt unsafe the entire time, and I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. Spend your money somewhere else.
