Four Points by Sheraton Kalamazoo

We stopped here as a break from traveling, so it was just going to be an overnight stay. The rooms were a typical hotel room, but they were clean,nothing fancy, but nothing to complain about. They were having issues with the tv. But the weather was bad so definitely out of their control. The next morning while we were eatting our breakfast, the last at the front desk made up a little travel snack bag for our 10.5 month old son. It was out of sheer kindness. My boy never having apple.jacks tried them for the first time, LOVED them. So we went down and said thank-you and explained that he really enjoyed them. She was so sweet. When my husband was packing up the car we were waiting on the lobby and the lady was sooo chatty, so nice, and very professional and personable. I also watched her

We chose this hotel because the pictures seemed so pretty online and it was so close to the Wings Arena. The exterior was filled with weeds and hadn't been maintained. While the front staff was very kind, the rooms were not very clean and had maybe been had some recent renovation but left large pockets between wainscoting and floor and wall. The art was perhaps purchased at an auction from 1983 and hanging unevenly on walls. Bathroom was not as clean as it could have been. Very thin walls. The king size bed had a big divet in the middle so we kept rolling in the middle. Definitely will not be returning, but the staff was very nice.

Positive: Location and price. And I had stayed here before over the last 15 tears. Negative: Hallway carpets are gross. Landscaping is a mess. Water was tinted brown . Breakfast was not free. Parking lot needs repaving. This hotel used to be much nicer and better kept. Staff was OK. The housekeeping wanted to come in at 10 AM to turn the room

Rating this four stars based off what I was expecting for a room that cost $80. Staff at the front desk were plesant. Got checked in an went to our room. Room was decent, bed was comfortable and clean. Walls are kinda thin so we could hear the people next to us talking all morning. But if youre looking for a cheap room this place will do the trick.

I had a room block here for my wedding in August as it was the closest to the venue and was a Marriott property. It was an absolute nightmare. I’ve had over 10 guests tell me they got keys to a room and they walked into the room and people were already in it, the bartender was fighting with guests (not from my block) and got fired on the spot, cleaning maids were rude when guests asked for more than 1 towel (as that’s all they gave) for a 2 night stay, they didn’t provide any shampoo or conditioner in some rooms, we had an agreement that the bar would stay open late for us and they closed it without notifying us, the ceiling had water damage, the water coming from sinks was brown, the landscaping was a mess, the breakfast was not free, my car got broken into, the room keys repeatedly stopp
