Hampton Inn & Suites by Hilton Augusta-Washington Rd

Location, location, location!!’ Hotel was nice. Clean and pet friendly. Staff exceptional, breakfast very good. BUT… the hotel was in a run down area. Homeless camp right behind the hotel where we directed to walk our dogs…. Not safe! Surrounding hotels on the same side of the road were in various stages of renovation. Definitely appreciated the hotel’s staff and standards but the location is not somewhere I would visit again.

The Hilton website and app state that hotel was recently renovated. The condition of the room says otherwise. My guess is that the “recent renovations” were for the lobby and public areas, not the guest rooms.||First, the digital key worked on all doors except our room. Had to get key cards.||One side of bed had no light/lamp. The plugs at the night table were loose and plugs kept falling out of the sockets.||The shower grout was missing and black in spots.||It seems we were put into a pet room - no rug, “pet at play” door hanger. White socks on floor became black quickly.||Would not come back nor recommend.

Stayed here for a weekend. Hotel is nice with what probably was the best shower outside of home. The staff was exceptional, especially Angela at the front desk. She worked 2nd shift Friday when we checked in. She made some recommendations for eateries. She worked 2nd shift Saturday when our dog hurt his leg. Angie was quick to give us gauze and tape for wrapping his leg. The only minor issue is the road leading to the hotel can be a bit dicey turning into from the northbound lane of Washington Rd. But it is convenient to restaurants, shopping malls, & parks.

Just want to rave about your hotel!! Room was great but your staff was amazing. Myself and my mother were traveling alone back to Florida from Tennessee, having breakfast at 6am January 10th 2026,Felicia the breakfast manager had everything looking fantastic when 2 people walked in who weren't staying in hotel, she informed Tamika the overnight manager who at that time engaged the two people and asked if they were guests. They gave her a fake room # and she said there isn't anyone in that room. They still tried to enter hotel when Tamika firmly but very professionally handled the situation and they left. Thank you ladies for honoring Hilton standards and for making us two women traveling alone feel extremely safe!!! On our next trip we will for sure comeback because of both if these aweso
