Hampton Inn & Suites Arundel Mills/Baltimore

Checked in tonight and the front desk attendant was very welcoming and personable. When making my reservation, I noted I would need a baby crib and was already set up for us in our room. I did find a hair on a fresh towel from the previous guest though.

… and this one wasn’t great.||We entered the hotel and nobody was at the front desk, so we waited until someone showed up. We had already checked in and had a digital key, but also wanted a key card. When we entered our room (in this non-smoking hotel) it smelled of marijuana. The cleaning crew should have picked up on it after the room’s last use. I returned to the front desk and we were given a different room on the same floor.||The new room was fine but the furniture and furnishings were past their prime and in need of replacement. Some veneer on most of the furniture was cracked, chipped, or missing. The seal between the window panes had long given way and it was useless to try and look out the window. Positive: Fabulous breakfast! Friendly, helpful staff. Very clean. Negative: The price! I’ve been staying here for about 10 years when I visit my son in Severn. I don’t need a fancy “suite” room…can’t afford the Hampton anymore, will try to find a regular room for a more moderate price.

Enjoyed the hotel. GREAT location. Room service was wonderful Rooms were clean and large breakfast was great The gym was the best I've been to with one exception I work out daily in the mornings. The first morning I was there I noticed there were no cups for the water dispenser. That can happen when there are several people using the facility. I also noticed the sanitizing wipes were out. I reported it to the front desk. I was told that housekeeping would take care of it. The next day things had not been refilled so I went to the front desk and asked for a bottle of water and explained there were no cups. The person at the front desk told me to use the coffee cups so I did. Third day still no cups but the sanitizing wipes had been refilled, this was the same for the rest of the week. Overa

Very nice staff, had a couple issues with my initial room however the issue was correct and moved rooms immediately. Stayed for 3 nights, and everything else was fine. Breakfast had a nice selection, and the rooms and property were very clean. I would return for sure.
