Hampton Inn St. Louis-Downtown (At the Gateway Arch)

Booked this hotel because it was an easy walk to the arch. Will say the best part was Kayla that checked us in. She is what hospitality host means!! The room was good. Bed like a rock. Breakfast was adequate but no better than any other hotel. The breakfast area and hotel overall is very nice and clean. The biggest negative was the 30 dollar parking fee but it is secure so that makes it less of a negative.

Convenient location near the convention center. Metro to the airport is two blocks away. Convention center is four blocks. Nice for attendees. I had a view of the arch from my window. Excellent service from asst gm Lawrence who checked me in around 2am after a flight delay, and front desk staff Brittany. Very helpful, courteous, and friendly. Ill stay there again when I return to St. Louis.

Positive: The staff for the most part was very friendly and helpful. Shout out to at the front desk who did an excellent job. Negative: Breakfast was good but ended at 9 AM which was pretty early. It should end at 10 like most other hotels. Parking was a greedy $30 a night.

We were here for a volleyball tournament and usually I don't really care to stay at a Hampton Inn but I'm happy we did! The rooms were big and spacious, the lobby was comfortable and even their breakfast area was convenient to have team dinners. The customer service was a 10/10. Especially Sabrina! She worked in the breakfast area and she was just so kind! It made a great start to my day. Thank you Hampton for having people like her on your team.

Only writing this review because of how amazing the staff here are. Came for a two day trip with my kiddos and we love the pool, arcade & breakfast. The parking sucks-$30 a day is really too much considering the price increase for events but that’s my only complaint! Rooms were clean & housekeeping was on it! Front desk ladies loved them & super helpful. Will be back!
