Hampton Inn St. Augustine - I-95

I have stayed here twice for work and the proximity to the office. Hotel is just average. On my last trip this week, I got a room on the Agriculture street side, not by choice. There is a garbage company down the street that deploys garbage trucks as early as 5am from I its yard. Non stop trucks at that intersection. Insist on the other side of the building. Rooms are dated but okay and clean. Breakfast is subpar. No variety with the breakfast as it was the same everyday. Tub looked like it was spray painted white as the earlier renovation look cheap.

Jason the manager is fantastic. He is genuinely interested in making sure you have a great stay at the hotel. The rest of the staff was very pleasant too. The hotel is fine and meets your needs. The price and location are the high points. Some people might be critical but that's unwarranted. Its a Hampton not the Ritz. You get a free breakfast. The rooms are clean. The location is 15 minutes from all the action. You save some money and get to put it towards experiences in St. Augustine. I'd stay here again and recommend others do the same.

This was a quick stop while traveling. |We found this hotel clean and the staff very courteous and helpful. The hotel shows its age, but some updates have taken place. The bathroom was updated, however, the tub had not been updated and showed age. The refrigerator did not work, however, maintenance did come and check the refrigerator for us. We did not have an immediate need for it, so we left it as is. The window blind did not work and was in need of repair or replacing. Hallway carpets could perhaps be replaced.|We were given a room on the west side of the hotel, and while it was very quiet, that is until 5 AM when traffic was very loud with heavy garbage trucks and other what appeared to be city or county vehicles. We think the other side of the hotel would give optimal quiet. W

We stayed at the Hampton Inn for Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, and it was the perfect home base for exploring St. Augustine. The hotel was beautifully decorated for the holidays, which made the lobby feel very festive the moment we walked in. The location was ideal close enough to the Historic District to enjoy the Nights of Lights without being stuck in the middle of the heavy holiday traffic. The staff was incredibly welcoming, even though they were working on the holiday, and the hot breakfast was a great way to start Christmas morning. Our room was spotless and the bed was very comfortable. Highly recommend if you're looking for a stress-free Christmas in the nation’s oldest city!
