Hampton Inn St. Augustine Beach

We stayed at this Hampton Inn for one Saturday night during the Nights of Lights. The receptionist mentioned that the hotel was completely booked, which explained the much higher rate compared to weekdays or off-season stays. I expected the premium given the event, but unfortunately the experience did not live up to the price.||I chose this hotel specifically because of its direct beach access. Although it wasn’t warm enough for sunbathing, we were looking forward to a peaceful walk on the beach before breakfast, which was a nice aspect of the stay.||The staff were friendly and polite, and I have no complaints about the service. Clean and comfortable rooms, great location on the beach with easy walk to excellent restaurants. Coffee in the lobby is a plus. Front desk staff is incredible, Vanessa even remembered us from our visit last year! Will definitely be back soon.

Very happy with everything about this hotel except having to pay for parking. Location was perfect, our room was top shelf with a great view of the beach. Complimentary breakfast was good and the area was clean and well stocked. I do think that having booked a beach view room with a balcony which is one of the higher priced rooms I should not have to pay for parking especially as I am handicapped (which spaces were very limited). Other than that, I would definitely stay here again.

This hotel was was stated in the reviews. The staff were great and very accommodating. The room was clean and smelled good. The free breakfast was good and clean as well. The only negative for us was the lobby smell. We were not a fan of the air freshener, it was strong. Overall it was great stay and we would recommend it.

We've stayed at this Inn several times because of its location. So close to downtown St Augustine and its many offerings, especially at Christmas. Overlooking the ocean with its amazing sunrise views. Surrounded by private residences, so it's quiet and peaceful and offers a good value. The grounds between the hotel and the beach are beautifully landscaped with just a short walk to get onto the sand. All staff are pleasant but Alisha at breakfast is an absolute gem with her perky friendliness to start the day. Standard breakfast which Alisha keeps well stocked. Cleaning staff is always cleaning and housekeepers are very pleasant and helpful. Rooms are comfortable, but not all have microwaves. Private balconies are furnished with chairs and a table. This Inn provides a very relaxing stay.
