Hampton Inn Morristown

This Hampton Inn has some individual character, such as a cheery gas fireplace that welcomed us to the lobby on a cool evening and a row of vaguely Greek style columns along the central hallway. The front desk attendant was friendly and efficent, and the room was spacious and spotless.

Room was not cleaned that great. There was trash on the floor from the previous guest, and other area not well cleaned.My room wasn't the only one like that other guess complained to house keeping. Bed and pillows were meh. Staff was nice tho and great location had food and groceries close.

I made a reservation about 45 minutes prior to arriving at this hotel. When I arrived, I noticed I booked the wrong Hampton Inn in Morristown. I proceeded to go inside to cancel my reservation. Initially, the words exchanged were pleasant. As soon as I mentioned cancellation, the disposition of Brice noticeably changed. She instructed me to cancel it through the third party. I called that third party, and then they called the hotel. Brice spoke with them, and she cancelled the reservation. Very politely, I asked for a receipt for my records (business trip). Her reaction to my simple request seemed to indicate that I was asking for Rome to be built. She did provide a receipt. I thanked her, and I went on my way.||There was no need for the attitude.
