Econo Lodge Morristown West

Booked online. Prepaid. This was the only hotel available within a 1hour drive of dollywood (last-minute trip on a holiday weekend) was told my online reservation didn't go through and was charged upon check-in. Was sent to a room that was already occupied where they threatened me and my daughter for coming in their room. Went back to the front desk who didn't even apologize, was sent to another room across the hall. The floor literally came up when my daughter walked across it barefoot, and they told me I must've done something to ruin it. Apparently, I just carry around some kind of weird floor glue remover. Then found out today I was charged twice. Beware of the bugs. Grossest place i have ever stayed,but was too tired to leave. I will plan better next time. Lesson learned.

One pillow per guest, that was beyond flat. Uncomfortable beds with plastic protector on it that made a noise anytime you slightly shifted. Pillow cases were drawn on. Cigarette burns in shower curtain (in a non smoking room). The WiFi and the cable did not work in our room

I had never stayed at an Econo Lodge before but it was only for one night. I didn't have high hopes. However, it seemed very clean, modern, and the staff was very nice. It has most of the creature comforts like a mini fridge and microwave for example. They do not serve breakfast or have a pool. Oddly, it smelled heavily like cigarettes all through the halls, but not inside our room. I don't know what that was all about, but it didn't really bother us since it wasn't inside the room, it was just strange. Overall, I would recommend staying here if you're just staying for one night.

All towels and washcloths were dingy with yellowish stains. The bed was horrific. The chair was uncomfortable. Yellowish stains on sheets. Just gross but I didn't have any other choice last night. You should pull the Econolodge name from this place. I won't stay at another Econolodge unless I am again facing no other option.

This motel was suppose to have smoke free rooms, but the hallways were full of smoke. My room had a sign that said no smoking, but our pillow cases had cigarette burns. The microwave had food stuck to the glass plate and the roof, roaches were in the bathroom and on the second day our key cards would not let us in our room. On top of all of this I was charged twice for this wonderful experience. I called the motel and the person I talked to was extremely rude. He told me there was nothing he could do, and told me it wasn't his problem. I hung up and called Choice Hotels at the 1-800 number on their website. I was directed to hang up and call another number, and then select option 4. After listening to the prompts, there is not an option 4. I finally got through to someone, and was then tra
