Cherokee Park Campground

Disc Golf Course is fun and long. If it's your first time, take a picture of the map. Concrete teeboxes aim you in the right direction, but you have to walk 200+ feet to each new tee box sonthey can be hard to find. Front 9 is long, easier, and more open. Back 9 is a bit tighter, a little longer and fun. Pee at Weigles before you come in....saw NO bathrooms (January). Pretty place, but need to fix the bathroom issue!!!

We stayed here for a few days. Have zero complains. We are towing a 5th wheel and have a 2nd truck and trailer (cargo), and the camp staff were very accommodating for not only the 5th wheel but our 2nd truck and trailer. We are moving to Alaska, and love this park. ❤️ There are some longterm residents who were all super sweet and welcoming too. Showers/barnrooms were clean and hot. They have 2 (maybe more) dump stations, water, & electric (30 Amp). We have solar panels so we could run our entire rig. Maybe a bigger rig needing 50 AmP would have to pick and choose what to run. Absolutely stunning park. Feed the fish.. Would definitely recommend for anyone needing a stop/rest from the road.

So clean and well taken care of. Workers were very busy. The paths we walked on were tarred so easy travel. I was with people who would have been struggling otherwise. There's a Veteran Bldg I need to look into. Looks like it may be a building one could reserve for large gatherings? The lake was beautiful. I'll go back soon.

This place is a dumpster fire. The sites are full of long term people who treat it like their own personal junkyard. Bathrooms are unsanitary and look to have been painted and cleaned some time in the 80’s. All the rules posted on the website are ignored and not enforced. On the plus side they have a 30 amp hookup that works…..

Beautiful Area, kid friendly, pet friendly. Amazing place to visit, And. The kids always LOVE feeding the huge Carp out of a baby bottle.
