Hampton Inn Monahans

Ice machine is broken. Has been since November. The one on the 4th floor works, but only convenient if you’re staying on the 4th floor. That is because one of the elevators is broken and has been since early January. Staff knows about it. They can’t seem to get management to care. Breakfast is good and the attendant is fantastic! She really helps you start your day on a positive note. Rooms are as expected and live up to the budget Hilton expectations. But their lack of commitment to keeping up the facility amenities is horrible.

We arrived at the hotel at 5 pm to the smell of fresh baked cookies. The hotel was not busy. The front desk personnel were friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. The hotel offered free breakfast. It was cold and very lacking. The coffee was good and hot.

The correct address is - 2021 South Ilda Avenue Monahans, TX 79756. The hotel is a bit isolated but in great condition. Stayed here for a night with kids. Staff is great, only thing missing was the pool was not opertional as the water was dirty.

The people that work here are great and very nice, the breakfast is great as well. However, the internet at this hotel is absolutely terrible and can’t download more than a few KB a second. They offer you to pay $5 a day for faster speeds but even then it’s barely 2mb. There is no excuse for this in 2025. For that reason I give two stars. One star for the great staff and another for the breakfast. Everything else was pretty awful.
