Fairfield by Marriott Inn & Suites Monahans

They put us in a handicap room. The place appeared to be clean, but the carpet was dusty. You can tell that it needed to be cleaned. The hotel wasn't bad, but it was not worth $150 on a Tuesday night. My biggest complaints are the low bed and the towels were very worn and had holes in them which did not represent the Marriott brand very well. This hotel felt like a slightly elevated motel. It was okay for a business trip to a small town.

I have stayed in this hotel when I visit family since the first year it opened and it is always clean, the staff is always friendly, and check in/out is always easy. It is my choice hotel. I feel very safe when I stay. They even have charging stations for my car.

Great location! Overall a great hotel and area to be in. Clean & comfy. Will be coming back soon!

Pros: The staff was excellent. Felt safe. Cons: Freeway noise was very loud. Locals with VERY loud cars drag raced in parking lot next to hotel. But they did quit at 9 pm. Sheets were threadbare.

When I lifted top sheet in first room there was cookie crumbs and hair on the bed. When I went to front desk she acted like it wasn’t a big deal and had the balls to ask me if I want to transfer to different room??? Bed was made without changing sheets! I think anyone including that female would want different room. Second room smelled like sewage… if it wasn’t past midnight, I would have ask for refund and went to a different place. I don’t usually stay at Fairfield because it’s usually motel 6 with new carpet but I thought this one being newer would help but I was wrong.
