Desert Sands RV Park

Stayed here while working a turnaround in monahans at the power plant. Like everything else in west texas its not beautiful. But it is definitely one of the best if not the best rv park around! The owners are super friendly. The prices are extremely reasonable. It is gated in, had a excellent laundry facility with free ice,vending machines, store with some rv essentials and emergency parts (pipe/plumbing parts, hoses, mini split acs etc) the rv park even has a dog park, and kid park and even has a covered pool! It was a little too cool for us to use the pool. But if it was summer we definitely would have used that perk!

This is a nice, clean, affordable place to stay in a very small town just off I20. It had everything we needed: Full hook ups, Wifi, pool, showers, laundry and a gated entrance. It was very quiet and the owner and his son are super nice.

Great place to stay! Jeff and his son have done a phenomenal job catering to people who end up near Monahans, especially for work. I’ve never seen a campground have such nice laundry facilities. The restrooms and showers are a nice bonus. Kiddos enjoy the playground. The gate with app access is so convenient. I can honestly say, that this is one of very few places we have stayed (while out working & not vacationing) that we will miss. Peaceful place for a night or two while traveling through, yet homey enough to stay longer if needed! ! If we find ourselves back out near here, this is where I want to stay!

Good and friendly people and nice place to stay long term

Love the rv park we travel where ever the pipe line takes us. They have a pool and it says ice cold it’s amazing. It’s fully gated and you have a pass code so safe for kids. They have a laundry mat on site with change machine. Also having mail delivered is important and they have that to. Price is very good. May this place be your next stay ❤️🙏🏼
