Hampton Inn Medford

This hotel was very comfortable and not dated at all. Breakfast was really good. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Our room was great. It was very comfortable and quiet. We did see some homeless people in the area when we were going for a walk, but not very many and they didn’t bother us. I’d say all in all it was a really good place to stay.

Booked accidentally under special pricing program in Hilton Honors website and had to change booking. Cancellation policy is 5 days, but had to cancel 3 days prior. Asked Hilton to override the policy and use the booking for another Hilton location for the same night in a different town 100 miles away. Difficult process to reach Hilton - tricky phone tree. Finally spoke to a human. Hilton honors help line said cancellation policy was discretion of the hotel manager. When I spoke to the hotel manager, she said only hilton honors (corporate) could override the cancellation. ||Had to eat the entire stay for one night. If you thought Hilton Honor's membership had privileges, think again. ||BTW pricing advertised on TripAdvisor was better than Hilton Honors with the same cancellation restric

Clean!! Breakfast was good! They had many toppings for the waffles that isn’t typical (such as whip cream, chocolate chips, etc.). The eggs and sausage were really good. The staff was nice and friendly. Coffee and tea options were great. Only thing is wish there was a hot tub.

Will never stay here again and want to let the public know my experience. Location is terrible based on the number of drug addicts walking around the area. Parking lot was flooded when we got to our car the next morning, 6-8 inches deep. Some areas were a foot deep. The hotel placed an additional hold on my credit card that won't fall off for days during the holiday. This hold lingered AFTER the full amount was charged and cleared. Don't stay here if you don't want to deal with these issues. Front desk person was courteous, no complaints there. Front desk person isn't there after midnight (Didn't affect me) but if you're arriving late due to weather/traffic this could be another problem on your hands. All in all this was one of the worst experiences at a hotel for me and my husband. Never
