Hampton Inn Louisville-Airport

The hotel is under construction, we were not told that when booking. It was loud, messy and smelly. The breakfast food was horrible. Food over cooked, etc. Coffee was cold. We went out for breakfast, we found the food inedible. The big thing was the lack of hot water in the shower. Warm? Sort of. Hot? Nope! Stay away!.

This hotel was very clean and well kept up. Free breakfast each morning is provided. You can get scrambled eggs, make your self waffles, cereal, toast and more. Pleasant eating area by the main door. The only reason I am rating it 4 stars is being close to the airport I could hear the airplanes through most of the night. I am a light sleeper. I had a white noise machine and I could still hear it. I used my hilton points to stay here which is close to the same amount of points as Home2 Suites. But this hotel chain doesn't offer the choice to watch your Netflix account like home2 Suites and Embassy Suites. I did not see a lot of restaurants by the hotel. We ended up eating at the crowne plaza hotel's restaurant. I would not stay here again due to the noise and lack of near by restaurants.

Justin checked us in and was very helpful. This Hampton used to allow free parking while traveling. That has changed and now you must use the one stop parking.com app. A little confusing, with very little explanation of the process. You pay $9.95 a day through the app and then you must register your car at the front desk. Hotel should provide a sheet that explains the process to make it easier on the guest. Great rooms! Recently remodeled. Very clean. Lady security guard provided complimentary shuttle service to airport. She was extremely helpful and quick.

Positive: Clean nice staff Negative: The worst bed I have ever slept in. I woke up after sleeping an hour and my back felt like some one kicked me. I continued to wake up in pain the rest of the night

Last night I was having trouble with my vehicle and Sheena helped me😊 what a gem. Really goes “the extra mile.” I love the Hampton Inn by the Airport. Top Quality service from everyone.
