FOR ANYONE WITH LIGHT SENSITIVITY WHILE SLEEPING: Bring electrical tape to cover up the light switches, as they have those SUPER BRIGHT night light LEDs that light up the entire room. I even had to unplug the night stand lamp because it ALSO has a dim night light mode. Seriously, I can read a book in bed from how bright the light switch is by the door. Who in their right mind chose to install these? Otherwise a perfectly fine example of an older Hampton Inn. Bed is comfy and clean, pillows are fine, AC and Heat are good. Just too dang bright at night unless you have some supplies to make it dark.
Great hotel! It is located right off major highways past Richmond. When I asked about restaurants, they gave me a detailed and organized list of restaurants, separated by ethnicity, in the area. This hotel was very clean! It served free coffee with actual sweet and low sugar and a free breakfast.

I had to update my initial review to clearly note the pros and cons of my stay at this hotel. I stayed for a total of two weeks. Pros: • The staff were consistently kind and helpful, always greeting you and making you feel welcome. Kudos to the hotel team for their professionalism and hospitality. • Breakfast was always good — a typical continental spread, but fresh and satisfying each morning. Cons: • The hotel is very outdated, which is disappointing for a Hilton brand property. • Room doors: Mine and many others would stick and make loud noises when opened or closed. The noise carried through the halls, so you could hear guests and housekeeping coming and going at all hours. • Towels: Some towels had an odd smell. One set smelled strongly of Fabuloso — great for mopping floors, but not
I came here for a month of military training, and this hotel is super close to the base. Everything you need is nearby, the staff is friendly, and the breakfast is great. If you’re coming to Fort Lee, trust me, you won’t regret staying here.
