Best Western Plus Hopewell Fort Lee

This is absolutely my favorite hotel !!!!!!! The entrance area is very peaceful. Small water fountain and garden at the entrance with soothing music at the entrance and in the dining area. The restroom near the entrance requires a password so that it is only guest available, which provides nice security. The staff is always at the front desk. The hotel and rooms are definitely clean. I really like the well-coordinated decor throughout the hotel. The breakfast is EXTRODINARY !!!! The eggs and hash browns are very tasty. I do gluten free and the Hash Browns, Potato Wedges, and Grits worked for me and are greatly appreciated !!!!!! The front desk staff and hospitality people are definitely helpful !!!!! We have stayed here multiple times. We always enjoy a positive experience. We will stay here again in future if the opportunity presents. Our check in experience with Leo was truly exceptional, as was our checking out experience with Paul. Both performed front desk duties very amicably, effectively, and informatively, making both occasions memorable. We did find a challenge in trying to set the room temperature, resulting in a bit chilly, but not overly uncomfortable morning get up. Room furnishing were good. Bed very comfortable. The bathroom was quite good with shower working very well. The grab rail, however was outside the shower curtain. Positive: Everything. When I walked in the door, I complimented the front desk person on the relaxing and beautiful ambiance in not only the lobby waiting area but throughout the hotel including the eating area. Second, the rooms were nicely decorated and clean. Negative: Nothing at all. I didn't expect to get all that I received. It was surprisingly unexpected, especially because of the low price.

Very nice hotel! Nice breakfast. Spacious rooms. Staff was very friendly. Location is convenient to pretty much anything and very close to the Army base. Highly recommend

We stopped here on our way to the Outer Banks. The room was very spacious and clean. The shower was powerful. The free breakfast was excellent with lots of food options. The lobby area and music were very nice... the music was very soothing. A great atmosphere after a long day on the road.
