Hampton Inn Covington

Out dated but clean, employees are nice. Be very careful and call your credit card to see if it matches your statement. They charged me over a $1,000 to much and over statement that they provided. It's not hold charges. It's not for anything. They screwed up. Calling will take an hour and promised call back will not happen. I will stay clear of Hilton. They also don't give out the Hilton bags to honor members and if you stay 5 nights at one location, this location has never heard of 5th night free. Update: Both day and night management has connected today and are trying to rectify the situation. When it is completed I will update again. They were both extremely nice and felt bad. Daniel was so warm, welcoming and professional. I felt like I was checking into the Waldorf Astoria.|My room was comfortable, clean and quiet. Hampton always has the best free breakfast! Don’t forget the flavored waffles! I highly recommend

Positive: The room was very spacious and clean. The hotel itself was very clean and beautiful. Negative: I did not like the staff making fun of my niece.

So it wasn't awful. Like, not a motel. But for a mid-tier equivalent to a Holiday Inn Express, it was rough. Generally dinghy and dated rooms. Stain in the bathtub and the shampoo container pulled off the wall. No tissues anywhere, which was unusual, and I sorta cared because I had allergies. But most importantly, no hot shower. The ONE THING I wanted. Warm trending toward lukewarm was all we got. And a bug outside our door. Staff was perfectly polite, and breakfast wasn't great, but then again you don't expect it to be. It was nice that they had a water bottle filter, and it was even set to green meaning the filter had been changed. Also appreciate the location off the interstate.

I booked a room with a king bed and a shower/tub combination. There was no bathtub in the room they first gave us, but then did transfer us to a room with a bathtub. However, it did not have a king bed. My husband forget to grab his dop kit hanging on the inside of the bathroom door, but no one turned it in. So, someone made out with our property. Not very honest help. Also, even with a 4-night stay you have to ask to have your room serviced. We will not be returning to this hotel.
