Hampton Inn Columbia-Downtown Historic District

I had a wonderful experience with this hotel, starting right from the booking process. Shriya Patel was incredibly helpful in assisting me with reserving my room. She was professional, responsive, and made the entire process easy and stress-free. Her kindness and attention to detail really stood out and set a great tone for my stay. Excellent service like this makes a big difference, and I truly appreciate her help. Highly recommend!

We went to a sporting event in downtown Columbia, and although we are only 30 minutes away from the location, my husband and I decided to do a staycation and stayed at this property, which was within a minute or two walk to the event. It’s a beautiful property and the staff was amazing. Rick specifically was so helpful at the front desk even when I inquired before our stay about the parking situation downtown. He explained everything to me and greeted us with a warm welcome and thanked us for being diamond members. He is a great asset to Hilton and the brand that Hilton represents.

Positive: Close to our event Negative: Our room was 125. Bottom floor facing the Main Street. Noise until about 2am. And it was right next to the kitchen. Worker started banging doors at 5 am to get breakfast ready for 6 am. Not much sleep. Do not stay in room 125 if you want to get some sleep

We had a wonderful experience at the Hampton Inn in Columbia, South Carolina. Shauncie checked us in and was extremely welcoming and accommodating. Upon check-in, she greeted us, recognized our Diamond member status, and offered us our selection of snacks and drinks and more. She also made sure we had enough waters since we have an 8-month-old and use a lot for bottles. We were traveling with a play pen as well, and she ensured the extra bedding made it up to our room. After a long travel day, it was so refreshing to be greeted by someone who truly goes above and beyond. All of the staff members were awesome throughout our stay. Brad was also very friendly, helpful, and accommodating. We don’t visit South Carolina often, but if we do return, we will definitely be staying at this location

Front desk staff, Shaunie, was absolutely amazing. My friends and I were looking for a place to eat. She took time to tell us all about the restaurants in the area. She was patient, kind, and sweet. I really appreciated her assistance and willingness to take time for us. She asked several times if our rooms were okay. She truly cared that we had 5 star service. I will be back and only stay at this location when I visit Columbia.
