Hampton Inn Atlanta-Southlake

I stayed at this hotel last weekend for a wedding and had a genuinely great experience. The hotel itself is cute, cozy, and exactly what you need. My room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and nothing felt lacking. I really enjoyed the continental breakfast—true U.S. style—and the make-your-own waffle station was a highlight (even after I messed up the first waffle 😅). The staff was patient and kind, helping me get it right. The location was also super convenient—close to shopping like Burlington and TJ Maxx and within easy walking distance to Morrow Hall and other nearby hotels. I have to agree with some other reviews and say this hotel is now old and dirty. I’ve stayed over the last few years and it’s been ok. Now the carpet is gross, walls are gross, rooms aren’t very clean, and it’s run down. It’s also loud while inside. You can hear each time someone enters and exits their room. Staff is pleasant but I doubt I’ll stay here again.

Dear Hampton Inn Southlake Management,||I am writing to follow up regarding my recent stay at your property. Unfortunately, the experience was far below the standards I have come to expect from Hampton Inn, and I left very dissatisfied.||During my stay, I encountered numerous issues that made the hotel unpleasant:| • The carpet in both the halls and rooms was dirty.| • The walls were marked and one wall had a visible hole that had been poorly patched with a green substance.| • The elevator was out of service during a very busy Atlanta weekend, which caused major delays due to the high foot traffic.| • The windows were full of mold and the bottom floor carried a strong smoke odor.| • The front desk staff was unhelpful when I raised concerns.||These problems were present in both rooms I book

Positive: Nothing Negative: Room was dirty and outdated!Rust on the bathroom fixtures, no exhaust fan in bathroom.Carpet was stained and dirty. TV screen was dirty. Fireproof doors were rusty, warped and coming apart. Breakfast consisted of watery powdered eggs and spoiled fruit

The hotel Staff were all great, when first checked in the room that was assigned to us had a broken door, the desk staff came and took pictures of the door and moved us to another room. the breakfast was great also. when I left and go home and checked by credit card statement there were two charges one for 25.00 and one for 50.00 Dollars when I called to see what the charges were the lady that answered stated it was for the dogs. I tried to explain that my dogs are services animals, she stated I would have to show proof that they were service animals, however if staff knows about services animals and the Federal regulations there are two questions that should have been asked and they were never asked.
