CLARION POINTE MORROW

First, I'll say the room was better than expected. The lobby of the motel had a foul odor that I feared would be replicated in the rooms. That was not the case. The rooms were fairly clean and the beds were comfy. However, the heater in the room had a bad blower and it squeaked incessantly. We had to turn it off before we went to sleep, which then led to the room being cold. Additionally, the TV didn't work. Also, this property is near train tracks and a train went by in the middle of the night, horn blaring. It was not a good night's sleep for us. We ended up leaving at 4 am.

This place is absolute TRASH! Don't believe any positive reviews. Their likely written by the shifty staff. After driving 3 hours for a business trip, I ended up in this roach motel. Pics on site are old and from when it was a well kept Best Western. Now it's a ran down roach motel where you can barely see the numbers on the buildings.||The room was filthy! Hand prints on the mirrors. Dirty curtains. Leaky ceiling. Smoke filled room that manager refused to change. Sheets were dirty. Housekeeping took pictures and didn't want to replace. Reluctantly went next door and lukely pulled sheets off of that bed to put on mine. Spoke in hindi to each other complaining. ||Manager was rude, insulting, racist and sexist. He refused to give me a smoke-free room saying I needed an additional $50 deposi

This is my 2nd 8 day stay at this particular hotel. I left a very detailed review of my first stay which was a month ago, and you can find that review very easily. My 2nd time here was excellent. No issues whatsoever. I have now stayed at this hotel for a total of 16 days, during which I have seen NO INSECTS WHATSOEVER in either my room, the laundry room, or the breakfast area. AWESOME 👍👍 The hotel was pretty filled this time, but remained noise-free. One of the big pluses of this hotel that I didn't point out during my initial review was this hotel's proximity to shopping and dining. About 2 blocks away is both Burlingtons and TJ Maxx. This will be a very detailed review, as this is my first time staying at Clarion Pointe Morrow. Before I booked, I looked at every review going back 1 year on the Clairon Pointe main page, as well as every independent website featuring reviews for this particular hotel. There was a mix of good and bad reviews, which made me cautious about booking, which was for 8 days. But I gave them a shot, so now I'll give my honest review. 1. RENOVATIONS There were a few reviews stating that the management's claims of recent renovations were false and that rooms were in poor condition and need to be updated. OK, I can tell you that the hotel DID look as if it had been renovated recently. 2. ROOM Practically ALL the furnishings in my room looked like-new. The king bed, the lounge and desk chairs,

They would knock on the door every morning throughout my three nights at this motel, disrupting my sleep for no apparent reason. The man at the front desk is unfriendly, and I was told that I could only remain for three days. If I wanted to stay longer, I had to check out at 11 a.m., return at 3 p.m., and check in again. This hotel is unlike anything I've ever seen was at the main desk, waiting for my transport. I watched a customer fight with the front desk; he is quite unpleasant.
