Hampton Inn Athens

Everything about this place is better than a typical select-service hotel. ||The rooms were clean and well maintained, with solid surface floors, comfortable beds (except for the pillows), and reliable connectivity. The common areas were also clean and well maintained, and the fitness center was surprisingly well outfitted for a Hampton Inn (it even had a Peloton). Breakfast included most of the typical Hampton offerings, but the hot foods seemed better prepared, and they certainly tasted better. Fresh water (infused with citrus) in the lobby was a nice touch; even the coffee was good. ||Parking lot was well lit and felt safe, and the location was convenient, with restaurants, groceries, and lots of other stuff within walking distance. ||And the staff....every person we interacted wit

TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE. & I typically don’t leave reviews but please use another hotel. Lucky I always check my room before entering with my things. This place has roaches and if I am not mistaken I did see bed bugs.. The property is aware because they said they have been trying to find a exterminator

Service conversations were heard all in the common areas. No rooms were available and staff tried to help the guests LOUDLY! Common area tables were not clean. The maid staff were friendly and helpful. Restaurant next to the hotel was loud and disruptive at night.

Well, in my over 30 years of travel I have mostly stayed at Hilton properties and have not ever had an experience as I did at this one this past Tuesday. I booked my room late Monday night, after booking for the meeting I was going to, they changed on me with little notice so, I needed to stay at another location so, I can save myself 3 hours of driving and could get to all my meetings. I called this hotel wanting to cancel so I could book another closer to my meeting. The woman on the other end explained, I would have to pay the fee for canceling. I asked what that was and she explained it was for the entire stay. I asked you can't help me here? She said no, our policy is the cancellation must be within 24 hours of the stay (it had not been 24 hrs since I booked it). I explained, I have h

Check in was very easy. Unfortunately, the room did not meet expectations. I have stayed in several different Hampton Inns over the past several years. This hotel was easily the worst Hampton Inn I’ve ever stayed at. My room #207 had a king size bed unfortunately it was placed on a what appears to be a regular size frame. The mattress was a thin mattress without box springs and was unfortunately extremely lumpy. The bed sagged 2 inches or more from the top of the bed to the bottom of the bed. The photo attached is a picture of the edge of the bed showing how much it sagged. The dust ruffle around the bed was barely touching the floor at the head and Foot of the bed, but in the middle of the bed at least 2 - 3 inches Of the material laid on the floor.
