Guy Harvey Resort St. Augustine Beach

Positive: friendly staff, clean, well decorated room. Ocean view balcony with lovely sunrise. Negative: The deck railing was plastic. Not at all very secure.

Beautiful location, grounds well maintained. Room was small, somewhat dirty (found a large cockroach scurrying about and credit card and gift cards under the bed and a Cheeto in the under drawer that was there from previous guests). The carpet was well used from previous stays with other guests and pets. Common areas were well cared for. Some trouble with elevator first day, but got fixed quickly. The views of the beach and pool were excellent. Has a cute tiki bar with limited hours but popular. Pool was clean but unheated. Access to the beach was easy peasy had a rinse area. Needs a foot wash station. Easy access to shopping, restaurants, etc. Great location! Very pet friendly and lots of guests enjoying their company. Bathroom is very small, but easy to use. AC worked great

Great resort! While it feels a little dated you won’t find a better place to stay! Pool area and beach access were beautiful, the resort is filled with incredible Guy Harvey artwork everywhere! We enjoyed all the evening activities from live music to trivia and music bingo. The host really kept both events fun. The servers and bartenders, actually all the staff, everyone we encountered over the week, was simply lovely. Rooms were super clean. Seriously best week away in a long time!

Perfect entry from the outdoor pool to the ocean. 5 floors of rooms. There is a eatery at the resort that has a music trivia night and bingo night. The outdoor pool is well maintained and there are plenty of outdoor space for smokers, $50 fee per dog per night. There is an outdoor eating area. The rooms are quite cozy. Each has 2 queen bed, mini fridge, microwave and a walkout door to the balcony with a breathtaking view of the ocean. The room walls thick enough to hold down the noise next to you and above you, unless your on the 5th floor. There is a gift shop which screams tourist trap with several themed items to match their fish paintings, hallway carpets.There is a workout area, tiki bar, and wifi. Rooms are clean. Each room has a safe for valuables. We loved our stay.

Took a girls trip February 19-22 and we stayed in room 210. We did not have an ocean view, but we were a little skeptical because of some of the other reviews that we were seeing. We got there and it is so beautiful in their little patio areas and whenever you walk in the bathrooms were well cleaned and beautiful as well. There is art everywhere and Santiago‘s restaurant that is in the main lobby was fantastic. Highly recommend the pork belly nachos and buffalo chicken dip egg rolls! The weather ended up being phenomenal during our stay so we were able to go to the beach, which is steps away from the resort, as well as enjoy the pool for a little bit. Our room was clean whenever we entered. There was nothing that was out of the ordinary overall for a first trip to Saint Augustine the Guy H
