Grey Fox Inn

We shared a room with our girls, one queen one kings sized bed. The room offered plenty of space for the four of us and all our skiing gear. Bathroom is on the smaller side. The pool and hot tub were great after a day on the mountain. We even enjoyed a brunch in the restaurant attached with a nice choice of brunch items. The small lobby served us one evening to hang with our friends (a group of 9), eat ordered in pizza and play games. A truly charming inn.

Stayed two nights in a Mountain View room in the second building. No Mountain Views but pleasant view of greenery. The room was nice, just needed an extra chair. Bathroom was a good size with two shower heads. WiFi worked well, beds were comfy. Room ran a little warm. Parking is limited for the second building so sometimes we had to park in the main lot and walk over which wasn’t a big deal. Local bakery next door to grab a quick breakfast at.

THEFT at Grey Fox Inn — we stayed February 25th through March 1st — I should have double checked the reviews before booking because there was a theft here Feb 9th just several weeks before we stayed here with a police report filed — a valuable jewelry item was STOLEN out of my bag after my room was cleaned — the person in the front was unhelpful and NOTHING was done to assist with this theft — please do not stay here, your valuable items will be stolen. DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!!

Just had to share..... been coming here since the Golden Eagle Resort changed hands a few years ago. This place is clean, the staff are friendly and helpful. There is a convenience store right next door if you want a muffin or sandwich and fresh coffee if you don't want to bother making your own. The walk into town is about 20 minutes... the road gets backed up all the way into town later in the day so sometimes faster to walk. There is a view out the back to the walking trail that passes the resort. They have a new restaurant there on the premises but have not tried it yet.....
