Great Wolf Lodge Indoor Water Park | Sandusky

We just had a stay from Sunday - Monday right after the new year. It was for one adult and 4 children. The room overall wasn’t horrible. It smelled funny when first walking in. I noticed hair on the sheets and random crumbs and confetti on the ground scattered. I also called down to the desk to get a pack and play, and an extra brown blanket (the one provided in the room smells like pee, literally!) and never received either. One of the tv’s in the room also didn’t work. We also added on the family breakfast for the morning and the service was horrible. I thought it was endless food as advertised but they bring everything to the table now and after waiting 25 minutes just to get the first plate my waiter never came back. We had such a wonderful time at Great Wolf Lodge! Everything was amazing — the activities, dance parties, story times, and crafts were all so much fun for the kids. The water park is fantastic and very kid-friendly, and the rooms are clean and comfortable. It’s the perfect place for a family stay, and I highly recommend it for anyone with children. We can’t wait to come back!

So many hidden fees despite the website saying “all inclusive” Paid 40$ in parking for a 2 days stay I was charged 120$ for a dining fee when I explicitly told the agent booking me I do NOT want it They told me a pack n play would be in the room for my toddler when I arrived It took over 3 hours and me asking multiple times for someone to finally bring it up and by that point my toddler was beyond exhausted. The water park looks much bigger in the pictures and the lazy River is an actual joke. The lifeguards are not paying attention so you really have to be on top of the kids It does feel like a money grab One crazy rule is that you can’t take a towel outside the water park so you’re shivering and cold walking to your room This is a three star hotel Not anything luxury so if you go

Water park closes very early…after you spend the day around town doing various things, They are already closed. Very criminal operation. $900 for two nights and my kids never got to experience the waterpark.
