Gold Valley Camp

Not a bad thing about the place. Everything was excellent. There's something about sitting by and cooking over the campfire, after a day of site seeing that makes the day just a little more magical than your standard hotel room. It was very peaceful and we will be back.

I wish they had 10 stars to give. Everyone is wonderful. So friendly. SO DOG FRIENDLY!! Had we been anywhere else that my dog took off after a rabbit we would have been asked to leave. They pointed which direction he went and said they had a bunny problem. I was so thankful. Location is amazing and it was our best trip to Custer yet

Very nice place to camp. Spots were roomy, level and gravel surface that is well maintained. Everyone was friendly and helpful. Had a food truck parked there that served excellent food. Highly recommend especially if you want to be close to Custer State Park. Will stay here again!

We absolutely loved the loft cabin for our family of five on our SD vacation. It was super clean and a mix of modern/cabin feel which was great! Staff are so sweet and we would definitely chose to stay at Gold Valley Camp again! We also loved the location close to the adorable town of Custer, the state park, Rushmore and other attractions! Thank you!

We booked one of the cabin they provide and we were not able to tell that from the pictures but the cabins were very small. There was one loft bed without clearance and I was hitting my head there all the time. I am not sure how they got permit to build that. Bathrooms are also really tiny. ||I would say the location is good and cabins seemed new. ||There are many other good options worth the money in this area.
