Garrison Inn Boutique Hotel

Located right in the historic center of Newburyport and a short walk from restaurants, shops, and sights. The Garrison Inn is one of the oldest buildings in town, and faces a small park dedicated to the abolitionist Lloyd Garrison.||Our King Park View room was quiet, spacious, clean, and comfortable. The room had ample power outlets and strong WiFi signal. The shower had excellent pressure, and the controls were easy to use.||Our rate included breakfast, which is cooked to order. All of the staff are friendly and helpful. Free parking is also included. Rates are fair for the quality of the accommodation and service.||We loved the Garrison Inn and hope to return. Highly recommended.

From the moment we walk into the Garrison hotel, we are always greeted with the friendliest staff.. always willing to go thr extra mile and we always feel right at home. Beginning with the beautiful rooms , incredible comfortable beds and cleanliness throughout. We start our day with a complimentary breakfast from their chef Stu. He offers us endless options of delicious choices to choose from. The hotel is in a prime location for amazing restaurants , quaint shops , bike path, kayaking and bike rentals just steps away. We were looking for a quick romantic getaway and found the perfect spot at the Garrison Inn Boutique. From our first phone call with Jody, we knew it was something special. We arrived during Tea Time and were charmed by the lively Pink Lady Finger lounge, full of color, conversation, and floral-patterned dresses. |Our room was bright, comfortable, and inviting. After settling in, we wandered through Kennebunkport’s charming shops and restaurants. Following dinner, we returned for the Inn’s complimentary evening tea—a perfect end to the day.|Breakfast was included and made for a relaxed, easy start to the morning. Jody was exceptional—thoughtful, attentive, and even brought cookies when I mentioned I was hungry. A truly lovely stay.

I booked this hotel based solely on the rate, and was pleasantly surprised to step back in time to a 19th century mansion with rich history related to abolition in the United States. The rooms are comfortable and spacious, with air conditioning and comfortable beds. Its in a great central location and very walkable to the rest of the town, and guest parking is adequate and a nice touch. Daily hot breakfast is a great addition, and the food is genuinely good with a full made-to-order menu. They also do afternoon tea, which is quaint, but I did not attend. The staff are friendly and helpful and the whole facility is kept clean and comfortable. No complaints here. I have stayed at the Garrison Inn many time both for business and pleasure and have always enjoyed it every time! I call it my favorite hotel in my favorite town. The place itself is wonderful and unique, with a charming historical feel to it. It's like going back in time and parts of it like a museum. The location is perfect as it's within walking distance of the entire downtown area bars, restaurants, and shops. But what stands out the most for me is the exceptional customer service from the entire staff! Jody, Kim, and Stu are absolutely wonderful people and a joy to deal with. They are kind, attentive, accomodating, flexible, and always making every effort to make sure that I am comfortable and that I enjoy my stay.
