Gardener's Cottage

Awesome place to stay! Just right for 4 adults. It's within walking distance to downtown if you're physically inclined (it was a little far for my in-laws), which is a big help because parking in Bar Harbor is a HUGE problem during the busy season. The house is older, but it's been well maintained and has some nice upgrades. It had everything we needed. The fully fenced in yard was a boon for our 2 small pups who stayed with us. The double fence really helps with the road noise from Main St. as well. This was a great "base camp" for a fantastic week in Bar Harbor and Acadia!

We loved this place! Modern interior, private location, kitchen fully stocked with dishes, utensils, bowls, pots etc.,back deck with chairs. The fenced in yard is absolutely huge and would be good for guests that have a dog. We had two minor issues and the caretaker Becky responded and helped us out within minutes. When you are inside you cannot hear the traffic on the road but when you sit outside you definitely can. If we came back to Bar Harbor we would definitely want to stay here again.
