Front Street Inn

Friendly and helpful front desk staff. We were made to feel welcome immediately. It was nice to have an actual bathtub and the water pressure in the shower was really strong. Location is excellent, within walking distance to a beautiful park, beach, and restaurant/brewery. Reasonably priced.||Disliked · The rooms need a serious remodeling - especially the toilet/bath area, which had cracked wood and permanent stains in the tub. Everything appeared to have been cleaned properly, but the hotel definitely needs a face lift.

What an absolutely charming little place! The staff are incredibly friendly, welcoming, and helpful. The rooms are a little dated, but my room was clean and ready on time, the water was piping hot, and the place was quiet. The location is right by the harbor, so my room even had a water view which I didn't expect. There is a park right outside where I could enjoy my lunches. Very pleasant stay for the price.

Service was fine the check in lady was very nice. The room at quick glance was okay, but after trying to get settled the monsters started coming out. The beds and pillows “looked clean” however had hair on them. The sheets also had hair inside the covers. The mattress cover had some kinds of stains. The window sill was covered in carcasses of dead bugs. Which you would need to open the windows as there is no AC only a heater. There is a mounted fan on the wall though. So that gets bonus points Stains on the walls and cabinets of possible blood or fecal deposits. We did not even stay longer than 20 minutes before we were too disgusted and had to leave and book elsewhere. For what it was to me, my sister and my fiancé, it was a good inn. We booked online at Booking.com last minute and got good service despite getting in after midnight. The receptionist was very kind and welcoming despite the time and we had a good night sleep.
