Four Points by Sheraton Dallas Arlington Entertainment District

Positive: The location of the hotel was perfect for what we were in town for and in general. Negative: There was a dead roach at the entrance and a few small roaches/bugs around the room. The beds were a bit small. They felt more like full size beds not queens. I hated that there wasn't an actual door to the restroom.

I need a place to stay as I was seeing family in Grand Prairie. The hotels there are twice the price. I had stayed at a few other Marriott's in the area before. The location is great if you are going to the theme parks, plus they are easy to get to without having to take the toll. (I do have a toll tag, but it only gave me an extra 2 minutes which was silly to just take the toll.) I had never stayed here before so we figured we would check it out. First of all, this is an older hotel. I could not tell if had been rebranded or not, but the hotel had been remodeled and looked fantastic. I should have seen the reviews on yelp. They have a major BUG ISSUE !! |This place is absolutely filthy and completely unacceptable for a Marriott-branded hotel.|We checked into the Four Points Arlington and immediately found a bug on the bed. It was disgusting and ruined our first impression right away. I physically brought the bug down to the front desk. To their credit, the staff was friendly and moved us to another room, but the damage was done, the whole stay felt dirty, uncomfortable, and unsanitary.|On the last day, it got worse. We found another bug (like pincher bug) on the bed in the second room. Two different rooms, two different bug incidents. That is beyond unacceptable and flat out disgusting. I documented both incidents with photos and video, so there is no denying it.|Mana

Pest issues Stayed here Jan 27-28 for one night. Location is great and also the hotel itself is not bad. I booked the king suite. After reading the reviews, I do think they have a roach issue. I was fortunate to stay on the second floor. However, i came down around 930 pm to grab a snack and seen a huge cockroach walking across the floor. It ended up going under the door into a storage closet. Could’ve easily went into someone’s room on the 1st floor as the rooms have gaps between the door and the floor. I was fortunate enough not to see any bugs in my room. However, after seeing the roach on the first floor, I did place a towel at the door to make sure nothing could get in from the hallway. Service was amazing! I needed extra towels and sheets, and front desk was happy to assist. Alexia was amazing, and very helpful in multiple ways, including when needing extra room service amenities. I had a noise issue with the room next door, and Courtney was a wonderful help to that as well, and very kind and understanding with the whole situation, as me and my friends were trying to have a quiet night in.
