I will have to agree with some of the reviews here about the view of the lake but buyer beware when you desire to live here before you put in an application. We came in there a few times and looked at a couple homes before we decided to make this place home. The 2 homes we looked at were pristine so we thought yes this is the place to call home. We knew we had to apply for approval before hand so we went to the office and spoke with Judy and made her aware that we had a past bankruptcy that was discharged almost 4 years ago and she stated that wouldn't be a problem. She immediately took our $100 for the application fee and said we should get a call back shortly. We did get the call the next day being denied with the bankruptcy was a huge factor in that decision. Do your due diligence before buying here! Lot rent is cheap but, renters are expected to do any and all tree maintenance on and off their lot (next door included if lot empty) and lawn care. Very little cooperation from management otherwise! Had the place for two years, never before had a manager approach while intoxicated and complain about a park activity. Not at all professional, if he felt like acknowledging you, he would wave otherwise, he would make believe you didn’t exist! His wife, same treatment! Very clicky community with same people taking over all activities whereas, very little participate and things are always cancelled! Tried to become a part, never felt so devalued and disregarded as I did in this park! So much that we took a huge loss on our home and bought a new home els

The community is nice. Its quiet and they have great things going on usually. The definitely need to work on their streets and driveways. Trim trees. Take care of the property like their supposed to do. They raise the fees every single year but never contribute to the property. Be sure to have a clear will that your family/friends know what you want done with all your belongings once you reach the of life.

Great place to live, sparkling clean swimming pool, shuffle board, library in clubhouse.on Lake Gibson. Fishing and boat dock... c'mon down..
