Couldn’t find the geo marker. There are a few trails, but we didn’t have time to check them out.

It wasn’t all that impressive after a 1.5-hour drive, especially on a muggy day. But that was just my personal experience at the time. If you plan to go, just go without expectations, maybe that’s the whole point of the visit.

3 stars only because when we walked the trails there isn't really anything to walk to to "enjoy" mostly good for joggers I guess u can say it was just a circle around in the woods no water anywhere or open nice area, just woods lol it did have bathrooms that were kept up and clean, the whole place was clean. They do have picnic tables in the front. Was hoping more of a nature trail rather than just a random walk through the woods but it wasn't horrible but it wasn't the best either lol when we got to the end of the trail it was just a bench.

Florida's highest point memorial is located in a Walton County park called Lakewood Park. The highest point in Florida is located ontop of Britton Hill. The park itself features a granite memorial, public bathrooms, picnic area, and children's play area. There is also a hiking trail of three various lengths (although the trails lack any real scenic views). The memorial is located inside the park. From what I can tell, the memorial is not actually the highest point on Britton Hill, the highest point of Britton Hill actually sits on private property behind to the park that is inaccessible to the public. That said, this is a quaint little park and must do if you are in the area, to say you've been to the highest point in Florida (which is unsurprisingly the lowest highpoint of all 50 st

It’s a good little rest area to stop and enjoy a good short walk as the sign is close to the parking lot! There are restrooms and hiking trails if you want to spend more time at the park! I recommend stopping if it’s along the route!
