Florence AL RV Park & Resort

LOVE this park! It’s the best in the Shoals area! Full concrete pads that are extra-wide. The all inclusive price includes all utilities and WiFi. It’s clean and safe and quiet. My wife & I are full-timers with 2 large dogs. We fully appreciate the gigantic dog park where they can run off leash. We especially appreciate the owners that live on-site, and have cameras on the 10 acres for our protection. They built this park from scratch and have done an incredible job in the short 3 years they’ve been open.

Below is my original review. I felt I gave this place a fair review however I want to respond to the owners comments to my review. You are correct you did give me the opportunity to do laundry. This was after I offered to pay $15 but even then you were hesitant. I chose to pass. I was not aware of a laundromat 2.5 miles away. My search showed the closest was 7 miles. You have a very nice RV park, and rightfully deserve a solid 4 stars which I will edit now. However, I stand by the assessment your RV Establishment is best suited for long-term older clientele with small dogs (big dogs attack🙄) and while cameras are great for security it felt like they were more to make sure your dogs weren’t off leash and you picked up your dogs poo. Hank & Charlotte, the owners are two of the most accommodating people. The resort is located on the Old Savannah Highway just minutes from historic downtown Florence, Alabama. Beautiful heated year-round pool 89 degrees, and full facilities, large super clean bathrooms and showers too. RV spots are concrete, a 40'-45' unit will easily fit on the site. Palm trees too, in Alabama. This place is a hidden gem among the thousands across the nation.

Hank and Charlotte are very warm and inviting. They began this resort just two years ago and seem to be adding new wonderful features as they grow. The heated saltwater pool has a great design for seniors and children alike, I practiced water aerobics for an hour after dark in the month of April and had no issues with the temp. Very quiet, clean, easy to navigate resort with open shower houses and complimentary laundry facilities (that's a wonderful amenity). The 6,000 sq ft dog park is excellent, shade trees in the dog park are coming soon, as I understand. The price per day is an excellent value especially with the complimentary laundry and double lot size of each campsite. I'll be staying again in the near future on my next visit. Only item I would improve is the access road to the park

We had a great visit at this RV park. While it is only 2 years old, a great deal of planning and expense has spent by the owners to ensure a great experience. The pool is very nice and the bathrooms are well-kept and clean. A fenced dog park is large and a real treat for the fury campers. The owners, Hank and Charlotte are personable and professional. They live at the park and are available if needed. Safe and family oriented for an excellent experience. K. Kirk
