Whoever was running the front desk had an attitude and kept trying to up charge me for a smoking room when I said I needed a non smoking. He said he couldn’t help me if I didn’t pay the deposit for a smoking room with an attitude because I “smoke” even though I don’t and only had my debit card. He also pointed to the sign and said no visitors as if I were getting the room to throw a party and kept asking me if I had pets trying to tag on another unnecessary fee. He kept talking to me like I was a child and laughed when I said I would just go somewhere else. I just needed a room to lay my head for the night. Very rude and unprofessional the moment I walked in. Not a good way to get customers. I would have just taken the smoking room and paid the deposit if he wasn’t so darn rude. No wond

I have stayed in the Fleetwood and he is VERY nice! The sheets are VERY clean. If you didn't like it, you should have went to the Motel by Denny's on Harrison They don't have roaches or bedbugs unless someone brings them in. The room's are VERY clean, but there's a trick to the refrigerator. Turn it up using the thermostat. He turns it down to save power. He has reasonable rates and he runs his business like a well oiled machine. Kudos 🙏

The room was moldy smelling when I first arrived. The owner sprayed some air freshener. I slept but went outside to smoke and there were two people having sex in the parking lot. The beds ARE OLD guess it's better then sleeping on the street. They have bed bugs too

Would be nice if y’all answered your phone when someone calls how can we find out rates when you don’t answer

Very friendly owners/desk clerk/hospitality. This place has been in Shawnee longer than i have. Not a lot of amenities in every room but for they have have good TVs and HBO. Considering Methuselah may have had a room here on opening night, definately cleaner than i would have thought. Yes, there are people in the rooms doing some romantic kind of stuff but that's cuz, guess what...it's a hotel dude.
