UPDATED REVIEW ..Look at the Reviews for Ocean Mecca before booking...This is my review from a brief experience this past weekend....ALSO DO NOT BOOK FROM ANYONE BUT THE HOTEL ITSELF, other reservation sites have been creating scams. The location of the hotel is great, and the front desk staff were very friendly and helpful — especially with parking, which we really appreciated. We were on a last-minute weekend road trip and booked this place around 10 PM, as it was one of the few options still available. The total cost for the night was just over $500, which is definitely overpriced for the quality of the hotel. Unfortunately, the room itself was disappointing. This was a great last minute place for a music festival that didn't completely break the bank. The location and service was fantastic. Right on the boardwalk and the staff was so helpful. The rooms are definitely dated and could use some updates.

Rooms were great for 3 adults. We chose not to have our room serviced every day, but I did see the cleaning ladies working hard. The location is perfect. Walk to the end of our hotel and your on the boardwalk, and then take a few more steps and bam you're on the beach.

On a whim, we came down and stayed for a couple of days here. I knew nothing about Ocean City, but this place is right on the boardwalk and had decent reviews. Rooms are dated but clean and totally functional. It was quiet, probably one of the quietest hotel stays I've ever had No coffee pot, no microwave, no hair dryer (just a warning) so we had to walk for coffee in the mornings.

This was our fourth year visiting Ocean City, and Fishtales has been our favorite hotel yet. In OC, you can’t expect a flawless room unless you’re willing to pay top dollar, but ours was very clean, the staff was wonderful, and the pool was spotless. The location right on the boardwalk was perfect, and the bus stop was just a short walk away. For the price, Fishtales Boardwalk Inn is an excellent choice.
