Fireside Inn and Saloon

We really enjoyed our stay here. It is at the north end of Long Beach so it is a quieter part of town. The room was large, we liked the fact that there was no carpeting, our communication with the manager was very good, and the short walk to the beach was great. We like having breakfast available. The bed was on the soft side for us but we know people's preferences vary. We would definitely stay here again.

Came with low expectations because I’m used to staying in resorts, not hotels, but I was pleasantly surprised. This place is great. It’s a one floor motel so no worries about accessibility. Our room was refurbished and the decor was modern and cool. They had these felt panels on the walls that made it look modern in a good way and the room was huge and spacious. The windows opened so we could get fresh air and they have smart TVs. The room was extremely clean. In the lobby they serve breakfast which is basically a hard boiled egg, Svenhards type pastry, yogurt, cereal, and coffee, so temper your expectations. What’s nice is that at night, when the staff is away, the lobby offers hot drinks like coffee, tea, and they even had microwave popcorn. How cool is that? They have a saloon attached,

Let me start with Cynthia. She has been hands down amazing! Very attentive, easy to talk to and fun to talk to. She’s very knowledgeable about the services, the area and fun stuff to do. I have never felt so comfortable with staff in a hotel setting before. She goes above and beyond to make sure the guests have the best experience. The building is beautiful, clean and comfortable and inexpensive and worth every penny. I will absolutely recommend to anyone visiting Long Beach to stay here. I will be back!

I'll start with a very small con to get it out of the way; yes, you can hear the room-dwellers next to you. The walls are somewhat thin, but afterall....the owners did create a BEAUTIFUL Hotel/Inn out of an eyesore warehouse. I'll take the clean, spacious and comfortable room and deal with muffled laughter from next door patrons, anyday... Did our family care about noise? No. The breakfast is average, but there are some options... it's off-season for Long Beach and they probably aren't as busy as the touristy months and need to keep costs minimal, we get it. If you've stuck around for my pathetic null whining, you'll see that this is the CLEANEST hotel we've ever been in. The staff is few (off season) but everyone was helpful, hospitable, kind, friendly and wonderful to deal with. We visit

I don't normally leave reviews but I had to for this place because they saved my birthday. Incredibly kind, professional, and accommodating staff. The room was super cute and comfortable. Best dog friendly place I've ever stayed. Great location and even though it's just right off the main road, it was still reasonably quiet. I highly recommend this place. Oh and the Saloon was cute too and had good food.
