Anchorage Cottages

We LOVE the Anchorage cottages! Our group of friends have been staying here and celebrating New Years for about 4 years now. It's affordable, short walk to the beach, pet friendly (some units), clean, and has everything you'll need for a cozy winter coastal get away! No ocean views, but a short lovely walk through the coastal forest to get the the ocean. Recently turned over to Bloomer Management company, and the service and cottages remain fabulous! We'll definitely be back!

We had been coming to these cottages for over 20 years. and we reserved a unit for Christmas. The cottages are under new management now and the rates per night are a lot more, including a $75 cleaning fee. You have to strip the beds and make sure dishes are cleaned and put away or you are charged an additional $25. What do they do for that $75? Cabin 7 had new floors and new appliances, was nicely decorated and clean. It was very cold when we arrived, it took a while to warm up. No hood vent or light over the oven, hard to see what you are cooking. Tv didn’t work in livingroom, we had to buy batteries for the remote. We were charged for summer rates but the property manager corrected the mistake and gave us a refund. These are older units and there used to be an amazing ocean view. Now th

These cottages are fantastic! A path to the beach and not to far from everything in town! They provided a nice place to relax on our down time. The staff texted us to make sure everything was going good on our first day and to let us know they were available if we had any problems! Our kids loved the swings and playing basketball on the court! Great place to stay!

We have stayed at The Anchorage Cottages twice, about three years apart. We booked Cottage #1 both times and were happy with it both times. Cute decor in the living room/kitchen area. Separate bedroom with a comfortable bed and plenty of storage, and cute 50s bathroom. The cottage was clean, quiet, and well-stocked. We did have a problem with the hot water on the first day this time, but it was quickly dealt with by management. This is not a place where you're going to get daily maid service, which is great with us. We don't want that. If you need extra towels or some other accommodation, it's a quick phone call away. About a mile from the town center (check out the bakery!!) parking provided, pets allowed (we didn't have any but other people did) a nice area out back for a BBQ or picnic o
