Fairfield Inn Battle Creek

Staff are super nice. They made my stay comfortable. Heads up, like many hotels they clean your room on alternating days. The room cleanings alternate between full cleans and tidy ups. Also, the linens and towels felt new. The room's deadbolt had caused the doorlock to flash red and green, when attempting to reenter room. Front desk came up, and them using their key, would let me in and deadbolt and doorlock would work correctly. My stay was for 14 nights. When the deadbolt acted up, again, maintenance came up. They listened to my description of deadbolt and doorlock issues, and quickly diagnosed and repaired it. No more issues with it. Also, learned there is a new owner, who's improving the hotel. In a few weeks renovations are scheduled to overhaul rooms, and they'll be getting new doo

The staff was polite and professional, the breakfast area was meticulously maintained during that time, everything in the hotel was clean. It's obvious that the staff takes pride in their work. We didn't use the pool or fitness area but did take a look. I would definitely stay here again.

Good hotel for our 1 night stay within the area. Close to restaurants and strip various strip malls. Standard breakfast available with plenty of parking spots. Would stay again for convenience.

I thought I had reviews from my trip in May. I had an excellent stay from Sunday to Wednesday. Breakfast was good and a great way to save some money. Bes and room was comfortable. Utilized the pool on a couple of the nights. I would stay again if and when I am in town again. It is close to a lot of places to eat and it was thankfully an easy drive to the church I was going to every day.

Genuinely expected worse. Front desk staff were friendly but need to be retrained on guest safety measures about not reading off contact information and room information in the lobby. Outside of that, these curtains need to be changed. Came into town overnight for work and although I appreciate the parking lot is well lit, I had get creative on blocking out the light to sleep as the side curtains that are not see-through are just decorative and don't move. Also, sprinkler above the light (bathroom) would cause an electrical fire, no? Just an odd location full of questionable senior/executive level choices that bring down quality.
