Fairfield by Marriott Inn & Suites Rome NY

LOVED that room had curtains that you could close! The personalized message on the TV was nice. Room was comfortable, updated bathrooms. Only knock was that the chairs in the room(both the bees chair and the lounge chair were very uncomfortable to sit in.

Positive: N/A Negative: There was no Internet service on the 4th floor, which is where my room was. I paid over $--- for a four-night stay; this is unacceptable. I had no service on my cell phone, tablet, or streaming services on the television.

Stayed here all last year (~50 nights). When I tried to book rooms this year, I was told there was a new policy that they no longer offered military rate on Friday and Saturday nights because the military don't work on the weekends. Um...we still do. And while I would like to not travel for two weeks, I have to stay somewhere on the weekend. I guess the new policy is an example of how Marriott no longer supports the military. Thanks Marriott. You just lost a valuable member. I now understand how this hotel has below a 4 star rating.

The check in was fast and easy. The hotel was clean and very eye pleasing. My room was spacious and very clean. The tv was 50 to 55 inches. The room was great. The pool was clean and nice! The gym was ample and clean. I am really enjoying my stay. Thank you for the breakfast as well

Stayed in the area for a wedding and was very impressed with the hotel. I called to check in on my phone because I didn’t know when I would get out of the wedding. Customer service was amazing! I was able to use my phone to get into the room around 11pm. Room was very clean and the AC was just the right temp. Breakfast was great too! I definitely recommend this location.
